KL marathon 2011 – kids dash June 27, 2011

my second time for kl marathon. this year kids dash is about 1km. i ran very fast and finished at no 7. papa run beside me and keep asking me to pace my run. but i keep on going as fast as i can. papa cannot go for his 21km run because his leg is pain. so he run with me only. next year, will move on to next category of between 10 – 12 and will be running 3km.

english class on saturday they teach us how to perform on stage. today i went to club tropicana and did a play called red riding hood. my friends, lauren, dev, pak yen, ahmad and me perform on stage. i play the big bad wolf, lauren is red riding hood, dev is the woodcutter and pak yen is the grandma. ahmad is the narrator. i also did a reading with dev, lauren and pak yen titled “my brother tim”.

this was my pet bird. i found him at our house door and kept him for one week. he was injured. he can’t fly away, so we keep him in a box but he always come out and sit near my book shelves. everyday for 1 week, i feed him rice and bread. papa bought bird seed from the pet shop near my english class and gave me to feed him. i call him justin. he got better, yesterday, i took him out and let him fly off. i have been keeping him in my room since i found him. papa said birds cannot be kept because they need to fly and be free. bye, bye justin.
